French keywork to low B, length is 636 mm (A = 440), the tube thickness is .016 inches and the embouchure measures 9.8 X 12.0. Theobald Boehm recommended the embouchure size to be “10.0 X 12.0, slightly square”. Sold with the original Haynes leather case and a modern case cover.

The original embouchure is of solid 14K yellow gold and is so faintly stamped.Created in 1963, when the Haynes family still owned the Boston workshop. As one of the “Golden Age” Haynes flutes, we note that suggested price on a new instrument would approach $17,000.

Recommended for the adult amateur or a discriminating musician who appreciates the wonderful voice of a “Golden Age” Haynes. $6500.
