  1. Ebony, five silver keys Joseph Baumann. Each key stamped with French hallmark for solid silver as well as maker’s stamp. No cracks. Late 18th / early 19th. century. Original green leather bag. Heavy, magnificent. 435 pitch. $6500.



2) Grenadilla, five silver keys, Buffet-Crampon. Each key stamped with French hallmark for solid silver as well as maker’s stamp. Head socket has crack, repaired with three carbon filament bands. With case, perhaps original, from the mid 19th. century. The flute plays very well at 435 pitch. $1750.



3) Cocuswood, five nickel keys, Frederic Eleanor Godfroy, stamped “ Godfroy fils” on each section. Very clean and original instrument that plays very well at 435 pitch. Mid 19th. century (?). $3500 SOLD
