A Silver Hand-made Haynes Flute, 1947

    William S. Haynes solid silver flute number 18,923.

    French (open fingerhole) keywork to low C, in-line G, soldered tone-holes, extended key arms over the pad cups.

    The instrument was constructed with .016 silver tube, soldered tone-holes.

    Sounding length is 601 mm (A=440), the embouchure measures 10.0 X 12.2 mm,, giving the instrument a wonderful tone color.

    Total weight is 448 grams. All pads and corks are new. The case is in good condition.
