We measure the silver tube as .016 inches (.42 mm.)
Embouchure measures 10.3 X 12.2 mm.
Sounding length is 601 mm, the head has not been shortened.

The instrument offers a superb dark and full tone-color, with a magnificent low register.
Acquired recently by us from the family of the original ( ! ) owner, a music teacher, amateur musician and University of Kansas Graduate. The instrument was a gift from her parents for her graduation from high school. We have contact information on the family, who encourages the new owner to communite with them.
It’s a fine “Haynes Commercial” that performs very well indeed.

*** Note, please: photos show the instrument as it came to us. All pads and corks are scheduled to be replaced, keywork tightened and the silver lightly polished. The restoration work should be completed by May 1, 2024.
