Serial number is 31,398, hand-made in Boston in 1962.
Soldered tone-holes, open (French) keywork to low B, inline G.
We measure the silver tube as .016 inches (.34 mm.)
Embouchure measures 10.0 X 12.1 mm.
The embouchure and the riser are of solid 14K red gold.
Sounding length is 636 mm, the flute plays very well at 440 pitch.
Original pad retainers. Pads and corks are new.
Double case is original, “like-new” condition.
Total weight is 464 grams.
A beautiful example of a hand-made Haynes, the flute now sixty years old.
