Haynes Flute 1972

Handmade Wm. S. Haynes solid silver flute number 39,652 (1972).

French keywork to low B in-line G, soldered tone-holes, pointed pad cups.

The flute appears to have not been played a great deal, as the engraving is still sharp and the key touches show minimal wear.

Gold springs are original and there are no signs of dent or damage to the tube. Sounding length is 636 mm (A=440), the tube thickness is .014 inch and the embouchure measures 9.8 X 12.1 mm slightly square, giving the instrument a Golden Age well-balanced Haynes sound.

Total weight is 418 grams.

All pads and corks are new. The original case is in pristine condition.

Recommended for the adult amateur or a discriminating musician who appreciates the wonderful voice of a Golden Age Haynes.
