Haynes Flute 1980

William S. Haynes solid silver flute number 46,816 (1980).

French (open fingerhole) keywork to low B, in-line G, soldered tone-holes, extended key arms over the pad cups.

The instrument has come to us from a retired teacher in the Oklahoma City area.

The instrument was constructed with .014 silver tube, soldered tone-holes.

Sounding length is 635 mm (A=440), the embouchure measures 10.2 X 12.0, giving the instrument a wonderful tone color.

Total weight is 425 grams. All pads and corks are new. The case is in very good condition.

Still in production, retail price is now a bit over $12,500. Our flute is 100% made in America.
