A good silver-plated flute made in the workshop of Louis Lot (Paris), during the ownership by Debonneetbeau de Coutelier (1882-1889).

Very faint French hallmark on the embouchure plate, no other marks on the instrument.
We measure the tube as .013 inches.
Soldered tone-holes, all in good shape, no re-soldering evident. Perforated (French) keywork to low C, in-line G key.
We measure the silver-plated tube as .013 inches (.33 mm ).
Normal modern Bb shake, two adjusting screws for the stack keys.
Embouchure measures 9.8 X 11.7 mm.
Sounding length is 599 mm and we see no evidence that the flute has been “retuned”, shortened or otherwise altered.
The price includes the original case as well as a new one.
Total weight is 350 grams. Minor plating wear to the right-hand thumb area.
*** Interested persons might be interested in knowing, although the flute has not yet had a full mechanical overhaul in our shop, that the tone-color is sweet and pure, highly recommended by us. We often have Lot flutes of this generation in our collection and have found them to be excellent examples of “Old French”.0
